How to delete your account
You can delete your COORD account in two ways. The in-app route is the fastest and is the recommended option; deletion completes the moment you confirm.
a. In the COORD app (recommended)
- Open COORD and sign in.
- Go to Settings > Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
b. By email
If you cannot access the app, email contact@coord.ltd from the email address associated with your COORD account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify your identity, process the request, and confirm completion within 30 days as required by UK GDPR.
Verification: we may ask you to confirm a small piece of information to verify the request is genuinely from you. This protects you from someone else trying to delete your account.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile (name, email, gender, style preferences, onboarding answers).
- All wardrobe items, garment photos, and AI-processed garment images.
- All outfits and outfit history.
- All Fitcheck (virtual try-on) results and your avatar photo.
- Your Purchase Advisor history and wishlist, including any wishlist images.
- AI Stylist chat history.
- Calendar entries and outfit logs.
- In-app interaction and analytics events tied to your account.
- For Apple Sign-In users: your Apple Sign-In refresh token is revoked at Apple.
Deletion cascades through our database, so all rows tied to your user account are removed in a single operation.
Irreversible: once you confirm deletion, your wardrobe, outfits, and styling history cannot be recovered. If you may want to come back later, consider signing out instead.
What may be briefly retained
A small amount of data may persist for a limited period after deletion, for the reasons set out below. None of it is used to provide Services to you, and it is removed automatically:
- Encrypted backups of our database and storage may contain copies of your data for up to 90 days before being overwritten, per our infrastructure provider’s standard backup policy.
- Diagnostic and crash logs held by our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) may persist for up to 90 days before automatic deletion, per their retention policy.
- Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely to help improve the Services.
- Records required for legal, tax, or accounting compliance may be retained as required by applicable UK law (typically up to 7 years).

Third-party processors
Some COORD features call out to third-party AI providers in real time to fulfil your request. These providers process the inputs we send them solely to return a result and do not retain that data on COORD’s behalf:
- Google Gemini — style analysis, outfit recommendations, and image visualisation.
Once your account is deleted, no further data of yours is sent to these providers. For details on how Google handles data, please refer to its privacy policy. Our wider list of processors and the safeguards we have in place is set out in Sections 4 and 6 of our Privacy Policy.
